About The Role
We are looking for a Global Account Director to further accelerate our growth. In this role you will be responsible for owning the commercial relationship with our top global customers and delivering the annual sales quota related to these customers.
Key responsibilities:
Create annual commercial plans for the customers, own and execute them throughout the year
Map out customer organisations to understand key roles and decision making processes
Establish and develop contacts establishing within the client organisation including at the highest level
Deliver against annual sales quota for renewal of existing contracts and upsell
Manage the renewal process to secure on-time renewals
Maximize upsell opportunities to meet upsell targets, including building the product scope as well as geographical scope
Understand customer satisfaction, performance and newly arising needs and translate them into new commercial opportunities
Act as the second point of contact for the customers, on top of their Customer Success Partner
Closely collaborate with Customer Success to create optimal customer plans and maximize customer satisfaction
Be an active member of a broader multifunctional team with shared responsibility for a group of customers
Key expectations:
5+ years of sales account management experience, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS environment
Experience in enterprise account management with quota accountability and building sales strategy and pipeline
Expertise in e-commerce, Tech, SaaS, digital preferred
Experience in working with manufacturers of branded products preferred - CPG, consumer electronics, home appliances, toys, DIY
Prior experience working on the manufacturer side, within marketing, sales, e-commerce or insights / market research function would be an additional advantage
Passion for revenue and growth
Confidence in dealing with prospects, including those in junior and senior management positions at global consumer brands
Experience with keeping track of your activities in a sales CRM and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and data quality
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during intense situations
