Three days after Co-op Catalyst was announced, we took it to the Co-op Trade Briefing from IGD at Co-op Live in Manchester. The room was full of the people it was built for: Co-op's commercial and category teams, and the suppliers who work with them.
This year's theme was Partnering for Growth. Co-op Catalyst is a partnership between Co-op and eStoreBrands that gives suppliers access to Co-op's own quick commerce data, across coop.co.uk and the aggregator platforms Co-op sells through. The same data is available to a supplier's Co-op team, so both sides can plan from one set of numbers.

Francis Nicholas, David Halls, Joe Gall and Laura Luz were on our stand throughout the day, showing the platform on screen and talking to suppliers between sessions. It is well known that the Quick Commerce shopper can exhibit quite different behaviours to the full Grocery basket shopper. Suppliers were keen to hear how the solution will be able to help them to demystify the Quick Commerce shopper for the first time.'

Thank you to everyone who stopped to talk, and to the Co-op and IGD teams for hosting us.
What happens next
Co-op Catalyst opens to suppliers in mid to late Q4 2026. Until then, we'll use these pages to share more about what the platform covers and how suppliers can use it in category planning with Co-op.
If you supply Co-op and would like to see it before launch, register your interest on the Co-op Catalyst page and our team will be in touch.
